The diagrams show the angle-dependent transmission of a micro-lamella film with 20° inclined lamellae and transmission values from 0 to 0.75. This significantly reduces the heat input (g value) from direct sunlight – as demonstrated in Frankfurt, Madrid and Dubai – while maintaining high daylight incidence and selectivity factors above 3.0. The example of Frankfurt shows a self-regulating effect with g-values below 0.2 in summer and above 0.4 in winter.
