Efficient heat protection with maximum daylight

ClimaVision® represents a new generation of insulating glass units with integrated thermal insulation film and sun protection optimized for location and orientation. The ClimaVision® functional film is stretched across the center of the insulating glass unit and acts like triple glazing with two chambers. This achieves U-values of up to 0.5 W/m²K – while also reducing glass consumption by 33 percent, lowering the CO₂ footprint, and reducing weight for transport and installation.

The transmission in the visible range (Tvis) and the g-value are specifically tailored to the location, building orientation, and window size. The result is an insulating glass unit with optimal values for sun and heat protection, high thermal comfort, maximum energy efficiency, and minimal use of materials.

ClimaVision® uses an extremely thin functional film to enable the production of compact insulating glass units that have the same overall thickness as older double glazing. Existing insulating glazing is replaced by a new, highly efficient unit with factory-integrated ClimaVision® functional film – without having to replace the entire window. Despite having the same glass thickness, the new unit achieves the performance values of modern triple glazing. Replacement requires only minimal intervention without any construction work and saves up to 70 percent of the costs compared to a complete replacement. At the same time, ClimaVision® makes a measurable contribution to resource conservation.
